SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR (SBR)

INTELLIGENT BATCH TREATMENT. CONSISTENT RESULTS.

SBR — SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR

S S Engineering Works Limited offers advanced SBR systems that combine all treatment steps in a single tank, operating in a timed sequence to deliver high-quality treated water with maximum efficiency and minimal footprint.

OUR SOLUTION

Our Sequential batch Reactor Solution

OVERVIEW

SBR (Sequencing Batch Reactor) is an activated sludge process where treatment is carried out in a single tank in a time-sequenced manner.

SBR is ideal for locations with space constraints and varying flow conditions, delivering excellent treatment performance with high operational flexibility.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

SBR performs all major treatment steps in a single reactor tank over a timed cycle.
• Fill – Wastewater enters the reactor
• React – Aeration and biological treatment
• Settle – Solids settle at the bottom
• Decant – Treated water is decanted
• Idle – System waits before next cycle

The cycle repeats automatically, ensuring consistent and efficient treatment.

ADVANTAGES

• All-in-one tank – compact footprint
• Excellent effluent quality
• Handles variable flow and load
• No separate clarifier required
• Fully automated operation
• Energy efficient
• Low sludge production
• Easy to operate and maintain

CAPACITY RANGE

10 KLD to 3000 KLD+ (Customizable as per requirement)

APPLICATIONS

Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Industrial Effluent Treatment, Dairies, Breweries, Distilleries, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Textiles, etc.

COMPLIANCE

Designed as per CPCB / SPCB guidelines and meet NGT discharge norms

TREATED WATER USE
